Job Opening: CG Supervisor
Location: United States or Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Make informed decisions for workflow, pipeline and technical issues oan all assigned shows from pre-production to shot and show delivery.
- Work with leads and artists to ensure successful implementation of the pipeline across all related departments.
- Directly oversee show-specific workflow and technology innovations.
- Advise studio leadership on current and emerging trends, tools and methods .
- Attend weekly CG Supervisor meetings.
- Attend and act in a leadership role through dailies sessions with the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Deep knowledge of software, licenses, machines, rendering, storage systems, naming conventions, file formats, color space, directory structure and shot publishing protocols and procedure
- Expertise with Maya, Katana, Nuke and Unreal.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux, Python and shell scripting.
- An excellent eye.
- Superb problem solving skills
- Initiative to offer ideas and suggestions to benefit the studio, show, and productions
- Time management skills and the ability to provide accurate estimations.
