Job Opening: Head of VFX
Location: Los Angeles, CA, US
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Production on bidding, budgeting and scheduling
- Help define the technical approach for each project
- Work with Creative Director and Producer to offer technical solutions
- Participate in meetings with directors, artists and client
- Ensure artists are following proper pipeline procedures and delivery specs
- Oversee all elements created by the CG team and give technical notes
- Develop processes and structure
- Daily monitoring of renders
Qualifications & Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Maya, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Houdini, Nuke and Flame
- Expert knowledge of CG pipeline
- Must have artistic eye
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and under tight deadlines
