Job Opening: Render Wrangler
Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Remote within the state)
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the render farm to keep it operating at maximum efficiency.
- Communicate and prioritize information with production and adjust render priorities based upon needs, delivery schedules, and urgent needs both on a daily and weekly basis.
- Assist with troubleshooting and supporting all hardware and software.
- Identify and flag issues in render nodes submissions, suggest fixes to users, and adjust priorities around problems.
- Report to Crafty Ape’s Render Manager / IT.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in Coordinator/IT role.
- Experience using Deadline Software for render wrangling.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Windows Deployment Services (WDS).
- Flexible and available for extended hours.
- Experience with render farm systems and management, a plus.
- Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under tight deadlines.
- Previous film industry and/or television experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skill with strong attention to detail.
