Job Opening: VFX Supervisor
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Understand the artistic vision of the Director and the DOP and do the VFX planning accordingly
- Supervise filming of VFX sequences: retrieve filming information, oversee the necessary on-set installations for the filming of sequences;
- Implement and maintain smooth production flow and find ways to simplify the process within the time and budget constraints of each project.
- Executing the project within budget and on time
- Foresee problems and prepare plans to tackle those if and when it arises
- Identify additional tools necessary for production; find and develop solutions in collaboration with the TDs;
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum five (5) years of work experience as a VFX supervisor in a VFX film production environment. Experience in delivering VFX for feature films and Series
- Comprehensive knowledge of VFX production and CG pipelines;
- In-depth understanding of film production and on-set experience;
- Knowledge of various 2D/3D software (Maya, Nuke, etc.) is a must;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Strong project management skills;
