Job Opening: Compositing Supervisor
Location: Los Angeles, California, US
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of compositors, briefing them on their tasks and providing constructive feedback throughout the project
- Oversee all compositing aspects of visual effects production
- Work closely with VFX supervisors to ensure the timely completion of shots
- Ensure consistency and develop production methodologies
- Manage the production workflow and pipeline
- Mentor junior and mid-level VFX artists and provide feedback on best practices
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of related production experience with proven compositing leadership experience for feature film & Episodic Television
- Extensive experience with VFX, photoreal compositing, tracking, grading, roto, prep, cleanup, standards, technical and software expertise, image formats, film, and photographic principles
- A keen eye for technical detail
- Mastery of Nuke, After Effects, and the VFX Pipeline
- Experience with Python and Javascript
- Experience and knowledge of Shotgrid
- Minimum of 5 years of VFX industry experience in supervisory roles
