Job Opening: Mid/Senior VFX Compositor
Location: Madrid, Spain
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Lead Composers to creatively and technically assess and plan assigned shots
- Receive and apply feedback from the Lead Composers and supervisors to finalize the assigned shots.
- Integration of 2D, 3D, and filmed elements complying with the quality standards of VFX for cinema.
- Meet project schedules and deliverables.
- Good communication with production and supervisors about schedules and deliveries, as well as detection and solution of possible problems.
- Take responsibility for assigned work, time management, and notes/feedback required by supervisors.
- Good balance between creative work and technical aspects of each assigned shot.
- Good knowledge of color spaces.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Nuke and experience in production, Cinema, and Series.
- Experience working with multiple CG passes.
- Good organization and communication with the VFX and production team.
- Capacity for collaboration, teamwork and proactivity.
- Attention to detail detail, color and light.
- Ability to tackle several tasks at the same time, know how to prioritize and solve problems.
- Knowledge of color spaces.
- Adaptability and flexibility to take on tasks assigned to other artists.
- Knowledge of practical lighting and photography.
- Global knowledge of the VFX Pipeline.
- Experience with 3d software (Maya, Blender) Tracking software (Mocha, Pftrack).
- Experience with Python Programming.
