Job Opening: Senior Concept Artist
Location: Needham, Massachusetts, US
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create concept art for characters, cosmetics, and other visual development assets
- Create illustration-quality key art production paintings
- Ability to adhere to and work within an established art style
- Collaborate with each game’s development team (Production Art, Design, Marketing, etc.)
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of creating concept artwork for animation, film, and/or video games
- Ability to iterate and take an asset to a final illustrated state
- Ability to create quality human character illustrations with an emphasis on faces
- A keen eye toward form, shape, structure, and silhouette regarding illustration and design
- Understanding of graphic design in terms of illustration layout for title treatment positioning and alternate size requirements
- Self-motivated with great communication skills and a sense of teamwork
- Online portfolio demonstrating relevant skills
- Ability to provide and receive feedback
