Job Opening: Lead Compositing Artist
Location: Toulouse, France
Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Within the TAT Studio team, in collaboration with all the teams and under the responsibility of the production management and the technical management, you supervise the compositing team. As such, you are responsible for the quality of the composite plans and the respect of deadlines.
- You participate in the study of the artistic and technical particularities and ensure the specific follow-up of the sequences. In collaboration with the lighting/rendering team, you determine the reference plans and their assignment and ensure the follow-up of the artistic retakes. You check the quality of the final composite plans and the work provided by your team, in compliance with the quotas that you have previously provided. You master the compositing pipeline and you propose improvements for the functioning of the service and the collaboration between teams.
- You have a proven interest in the technologies implemented in the digital image creation process and a mastery of 3D software such as 3ds Max and V-Ray. We are looking for profiles with a good knowledge of the techniques of making an animated film.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nuke Mastery
- Knowledge appreciated: 3ds Max and V-Ray
- Rigor, sensitivity to color harmony, sense of detail
- Overview of the image creation process with a detailed understanding of image rendering issues
- Quality of listening and problem analysis
- Good taste and attention to detail
