Job Opening: Nuke Compositor
Location: United Kingdom
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Working in collaboration with the 2D Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shots
- Taking briefs and direction from Leads and VFX Supervisors to execute assigned shots in the best and most efficient way possible.
- Balancing the creative and technical aspects of the assigned shots
- Ongoing communication with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines
- Taking responsibility for own workload, time management, and notes/feedback
- Meeting schedules and show deadlines
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong ability in all aspects of compositing in Nuke, integrating 2D, 3D, and live-action elements to a high-end visual effects standard
- Strong eye for detail, composition, understanding of color and lighting
- Able to understand and apply shot notes
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, collaborative, and team-orientedwork ethic
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve
- Calm under pressure
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of the overall VFX Pipeline
- Knowledge about practical lighting and photography
- Experience using ShotGrid
- Experience using Linux
- TCL Expressions and Python
