Job Opening: Lead Clean-Up Artist
Location: Boyle, Ireland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Clean Up team
- Communicate with Animation Director, Clean Up Supervisor & Production team
- Hit weekly expected output and flag any issues that might hinder this weekly output
- Help the Supervisor lead the Clean Up team – guide and mentor the work of the team while supporting them as individual Artists by assisting the Supervisor with tasks where needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Having a keen eye and experience working with rough key animation to be tied down/on model
- Be able to help the Clean-Up Supervisor lead a team, provide critical feedback, mentor, and aid other Artists.
- To provide Admin support to the Clean Up Supervisor
- Drawing ability, an artistic mindset
- Visual storytelling
- Ability to draw in a variety of styles and genres
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
- Knowledge of current techniques and trends in animation
- Ability to self manage, multi-task, prioritize and problem solve.
- Needs to be passionate & enthusiastic about the project!
- Must show attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, a good attitude, and overall enthusiasm.
- Ability to work to a schedule and plan workflows to meet deadlines
- Experience with some production tracking software and asset management software, preferably Shotgrid & Ftrack.
