Job Opening: Jr. Nuke Compositor
Location: New York, NY
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistently high-quality work and troubleshoot technical problems on assigned shots
- Maintain a desire to deliver consistently high quality in terms of aesthetic and technical work and communicate effectively with other artists/comp supervisors
- Effectively and seamlessly integrate elements with production footage, using rotoscoping, keying, painting, tracking, and other compositing techniques
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Nuke and compositing experience
- Good understanding of photorealistic VFX workflow
- Ability to take direction and implement feedback with a positive attitude
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Sharp organizational and time management skills
- A fluent understanding of photography, color, and light
- Practical knowledge of composition and perspective for shot design and look development
- Knowledge of the following programs is considered a plus:
- Syntheses
- Silhouette
- Mocha
- Photoshop
- After Effects
- Programming and scripting skills
