Job Opening: 3D Weapon Artist
Location: Madrid, Spain
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 3D models of weapons based on concept art and design specifications.
- Ensure weapons are visually consistent and aligned with the game’s art style and overall vision.
- Collaborate closely with riggers and animators to implement and test weapon rigs and animations within UE5.
- Model and texture assets.
- Collaborate with the Art team to ensure consistency and quality in weapon design.
Qualifications & Skills:
- +3 years of experience modeling and texturing high-end weapons and hard surface models.
- Knowledge of 3D software such as Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Maya, or Blender.
- Knowledge of Zbrush and Substance Painter.
- Ability to optimize assets for functionality and performance.
- Ability to adapt to pipelines, workflows, technical requirements, and art direction.
- Experience with game engines in Unreal Engine or other engines.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Nice to have:
- Solid knowledge of real weapons and/or mechanical systems.
- Fusion 360 workflow is a plus.
