Job Opening: 3D Lead Character Artist
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong understanding of character stylization (with examples)
- 5+ years experience as a character artist in the video game industry and 3+ years in a lead capacity
- Strong Knowledge of Maya
- Zbrush guru
- Guru at the creation of real-time characters (must)
- Highly Experienced Substance painter
- Great team player, self-motivated and can communicate well
- Experience with feedback from external and internal artists
- understanding of a real-time workflow for characters Hi-poly to low-poly game mesh, texturing, materials etc.
- Portfolio with VERY strong characters.
- Very proficient in English and communication.
- Great understanding and experience using Unreal Engine.
- Experience creating Cinematic/post-production characters a plus
