Job Opening: 3D Generalist

Location: Remote

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the team to prototype bringing the project to life.
  • Create 3D models, layouts, textures, and materials in alignment with artistic vision.
  • Develop 3D models for characters, environments, props, and basic animation based on the project’s requirements.
  • Design optimal UV layouts and utilize advanced texturing techniques for optimal results.
  • Enhance visual quality through lighting, shading, and camera adjustments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven expertise as a 3D Artist, showcasing real-time models, shading, and lighting scenes.
  • Proficient in 3D software (Maya, 3DSMAX, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, etc.).
  • Strong look development skill translating 2D concepts into 3D scenes.
  • Ability to create high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for varied purposes.
  • Understanding of topology, poly count budgets, and optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of lighting, shading, and advanced baking techniques.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and adaptability in a collaborative team setting.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine and good English communication skills.

Bonus Skills:

  • Solid understanding of animation principles, animation skills, and rigging.
