Job Opening: 3D Environment Artist

Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create modular 3D environment kits and props that bring our world to life and conform to technical constraints.
- Work closely with the rest of the art team to maintain a consistent and continually improving aesthetic across all 3d assets in the game.
- Iterate on content based on feedback from artists, designers, engineers, and our community.
- Able to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Work with a small number of external contributors to ensure external environment assets meet our development standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A strong eye for color, composition, texture, form, and lighting.
- An understanding of how to tell implied stories through environment layout and design.
- Demonstrable expertise in creating real-time 3D environments for games.
- Must be a United States resident.
Nice to haves
- Portfolio showcasing a breadth of stylized art.
- Experience working with procedural asset creation systems.
- Experience working in Blender.
- Experience with trim sheet workflows.
- Other discipline experience such as concept design, character art, shader development, VFX, and procedural asset creation is a huge plus.
