Job Opening: UX Designer
Location: Redmond, Washington, United States
Type: Full-Time
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years of experience working in product or service design.
- OR Master’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design.
- OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
- 2+ years of experience working with User Researchers and methodologies.
- A history of successful user experience design for high-quality entertainment products, websites, native applications, or software.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine.
- Previous experience with console/PC titles with at least one shipped AAA game.
- Passion for games is a plus.
- Previous experience with large, fiction-rich games or entertainment franchises.
- You are comfortable working in an exciting, fast-paced, deadline-driven working environment.
