Job Opening: 2D Character Concept Artist
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D concept art for characters.
- Collaborate with your team to define the visual style and artistic direction.
- Develop and refine visual concepts based on the requirements and feedback from the team.
- Produce high-quality artwork that aligns with the overall aesthetic goals of the projects.
- Create model sheets that effectively communicate design ideas and serve as a reference for 3D modeling asset creation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current online portfolio.
- Proven experience as a 2D Concept Artist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills in character design.
- Proficiency in digital art tools and software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar programs.
- Strong understanding of art fundamentals such as form, anatomy, color, values, mood, and layout.
- Ability to create and iterate on concepts quickly while maintaining a high level of detail and quality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Understanding of animation principles and how concept art fits into the overall development process.
