Job Opening: HR Manager
Location: Tenerife, Spain
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment process by reviewing resumes, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Coordinate job offers and maintain clear, respectful communication with all candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Ensure employee records, including contracts, work permits, vacation days, and absences, are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
- Oversee smooth onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and prepared, and manage offboarding procedures when necessary, including exit interviews.
- Administer payroll processes and ensure compliance with labor laws and social security regulations, with particular attention to Spanish employment law.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with both local Spanish regulations and international standards.
- Provide guidance on HR-related issues, support employees through challenges, manage labor relations, mediate disputes, and foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee the administration of performance evaluations, salary reviews, and employee benefits, including health insurance and additional perks.
- Manage and maintain HR software and systems, ensuring they are current, efficient, and accessible for all employees.
- Ensure all HR processes are handled with a high level of accuracy and precision, maintaining meticulous attention to detail in compliance with legal standards and company policies
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR management.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Strong understanding of Spanish employment law and labor regulations.
- Excellent communication and mediation skills.
- This position is based on-site in Tenerife. Candidates must either be located in Tenerife or be willing to relocate
- Experience in the VFX or creative industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes in creative/technical fields.
